An identification tag is a small object bearing inscribed information, utilized in the identification of deceased and wounded RDA personnel. These tags carry information such name, his or her picture and religious affiliation. The tag is worn on a chain around the neck, in a similar fashion to dog tags and has a distinctive prism-like shape, with dimensions of around 30mm by 50mm.

The tag is colloquially known as a 'dead meat ticket', or 'DMT'.
