Echo Chasm is a location on Pandora that becomes unlocked when the main story of James Cameron's Avatar: The Game has been completed with both the Na'vi and RDA factions. There are no missions available, and no major purpose for the area, other than to farm experience points from the few enemies that reside in the area, which can be used as credits to buy units and upgrades in the Conquest Mini Game.

If the player is sided with the RDA, upon arrival they will find a chopper, chopper pilot, and an AMP suit at the spawn area, with the AMP suit being invincible and having unlimited ammunition in it's gun. There is also another chopper and chopper pilot at the end of the area, as well as numerous A-Pods scattered around that the player can use to refill their ammo. An RDA player will have to fight Na'vi warriors and 2 thanators. If the player is sided with the Na'vi, they will find a banshee, banshee rider, and a ride-able thanator at the spawn area, with the thanator being invincible like the AMP suit. There is another banshee and banshee rider at the end of the area, as well as cell samples from plants that are scattered around that the player can use to fill their recovery bar. Also, the A-Pods that appear if the player is an RDA soldier do not appear if the player is a Na'vi warrior, and vice versa for the plant cell samples not appearing for the RDA. A Na'vi player will have to fight RDA soldiers, 2 AMP suits, and 2 ATV's. If the player either jumps in the AMP suit or rides the Thanator, they will have no issue killing enemies. However, if the player does not take their factions invincible ride into the area, the player them self is not invincible, and they may have troubles against the enemies in the area, particularly an RDA player having trouble against the thanators, and a Na'vi player encountering issues against the AMP suits or ATV's. The area itself is one long path with some wrecked RDA shacks and a damaged RDA security fence along the way. The area also has a reddish/grey saturated look to it, and some ambient music is also present.
