Lightstorm Entertainment is an American independent film production company. The company was founded and owned by James Cameron in 1990, and is best known for producing films that include Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and Titanic. James Cameron's latest film is the 2009 film Avatar, which was released on December 18, 2009 and distributed by 20th Century Fox. James Cameron has also employed other filmmakers to produce and direct films under Lightstorm's production banner.
