The push fruit tree (Na'vi name: utral utu mauti meaning "tree in forest canopy bearing fruit") is a fruit tree native to the forest canopies of Pandora.
The popular although scarce Na'vi food source commonly known as banana fruit is derived from this tree. The banana fruit is considered scarce due to its location in the forest canopy and it is considered 'good luck' if one is found on the forest floor untouched.
Trivia[]
- It is only mentioned in the James Cameron's Avatar: An Activist Survival Guide in the banana fruit section and has no image. It is unclear if it has appeared in the series as a result.
