The criticisms for James Horner using portions of earlier works are tiresome. Musicians have a particular style or sound that often get tweaked and reused across the body of their work. Such familiarity is what generally brings their audience to enjoy their music. Frankly, when a favorite musician changes their style completely, they might as well take up a pseudonym as well, because it's entirely possible fans won't enjoy the change. Personally I think it's unnecessary to have the note at the bottom of this page. It might as well state the obvious: "Musicians sound more like themselves than each other." Separate article for each track? Edit

Does there really have to be a separate article for every track on the soundtrack? Imo, that doesn't add any value to the wiki. Faern. 15:13, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

I agree with Faern, the separate tracks might best be combined into the Soundtrack page, with perhaps a redirect for each track leading users there. Kxetse a-ean 05:56, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
I think even a redirect is unnecessary. If someone were to search for an individual track, it would appear in the search result list for the album page. Just delete the pages and move any relevant information into the Album page. --Zervonn TALK 06:34, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

As a person who always listens to the OST's of good movies; I, depending on my experience, can easily say that OST of Avatar is beyond good. The music makes you feel the ambiance of Pandora and everything happened on it in the movie. I think that it is ridiculous to question its quality and originality. That piece of work deserves the original score oscar. --W0LFMAN 15:44, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

Agree to delete the separate track pages--put them all in the Soundtrack page. Perhaps "I See You" might get its own page by virtue of its lyrics. I would support separate pages for the tracks which have obvious Na'vi singing in the background if and only if someone managed to get an accurate translation of said Na'vi into English. Done. I did keep the separate pages for "I See You" and the bonus track. Kxetse a-ean 07:52, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. Faern. 15:48, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
We should probably keep the tracks, adding more information, as they are stubs. We can include in which part of the film it was heard, background information, etc. --Shadow Na'vi ~ Talk 15:57, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
That is obvious from the names of the tracks. We might recreate some them if we ever get to know what they were singing in the Na'vi language in some of the tracks. Faern. 17:41, January 13, 2010 (UTC)
