Norm is a brave, unsung hero. Think about it. He suffered the experience of being shot and climbed from the link obviously traumatized. But then he dons an exopack, picks up a weapon, and rejoins the fight. There's more bravery there than meets the eye. Put yourself in his place: Every creature and tall Na'vi are looking for little humans with exopacks on to slaughter. You'd have to be brave to go back out onto that battlefield! - consider he may have just been running from the link-house to save himself in panic. he left Jakes link unguarded and we all saw what happened. i do not, however, deny the rest of what you said. unsung hero is definately true. Agent Tasmania 02:37, January 7, 2010 (UTC)
you are right :) very brave indeed. he puts his life on the line for the Na'vi multiple times and also jake (well he is Na'vi now :P) i think norm played a great role in the movie. i liked where he punched the RDA guard in the face to try and protect Jake from being cut off from his avatar :D -Avatar- 08:36, December 31, 2009 (UTC)
On the second paragraph it says "He was trained as a scientist", but Norm was an anthropologist! What do you think about?
- an·thro·pol·o·gy (ān'thrə-pŏl'ə-jē) n.
- 1. The scientific study of the origin, the behavior, and the physical, social, and cultural development of humans.
The point being, an anthropologist is a scientist. Kxetse a-ean 02:47, January 1, 2010 (UTC)
- maybe his points was that 'studied anthropology' may be more appropriate? Agent Tasmania 11:00, January 17, 2010 (UTC)
