Tasun of the Li'ona clan is a respected hunter, and is believed to be the only member of the Li'ona clan to have ever communicated with the newcomers. Tasun learned the language and culture of the Sky People years ago, when he pulled a pilot out of the wreckage of a downed Scorpion vehicle. A deep friendship ensued between Tasun and the human, for years they taught one another their respective languages and cultures.

Tasun saw Rai'uk and his banshee falling, and after locating him, invited him to his village to care for his wounds and those of his banshee. He is a rider of hammerhead titanothere.
