Where has the Avatar money counter gone? & Avatar DVD Release
When I logged on Sunday , I was looking for the money counter that showed how much Avatar has made sofar. Where has it gone? It needs to be put back up because Avatar's 2D DVD release it April 22, 2010. I hope my local Wal-Mart (I live in a small town, it's the only place to get new DVDs) has enough of them. Especially if they have a special edition, they usually do. If they don't, someone will be hurt until i get myself a copy.
Modern Day AMP Suits?
I was talking with a friend of mine who is retired U.S. military. We were playing MW2 and we got to talking about the various kinds of body armor that are currently in use, development, ect. He told me that the military has an exoskeleton that can let you carry an 80 pound load like it was nothing and the armor that it is made of can stop a .50 cal round to the head. he also told me that it has been in developement for the past 20 years. He is retired infantry and was saying that they need it because infantry is the most underpowered fighting force in the world. Could this suit be our own modern day version of the AMP Suits?
Avatar Syndrome
Has anyone else heard of "Avatar Syndrome?" A friend told me that some people who had seen Avatar became clinically depressed and in some cases commited suicide because of seeing Avatar and Pandora and then having to return to Earth after having seen Avatar.
Possible RDA tactics
I was thinking of possible RDA tactics in Avatar 2. Has anyone here heard about Vietnam Airmobile tactics? What they did and correct me if I am wrong, would be to blast a hole in the jungle for around a day or so using artillery and airplanes. Then they would send in Hueys to start dropping off troops. Would the RDA try something like that? We know that they have access to aircraft, Willy Peter( White Phospherous, an extremely high and fast burning chemical) or napalm, and artillery.Also use S&A tactics. Roll in fast as you can with all guns blazing and shoot the crap out of everything that even looks like an enemy. It would also work if the RDA had access to tanks like an M-1 Abrams MBT. Possible New RDA Vehicles in A2
Sorry if this already exist, but has anyone given though as to the RDA vihecles that mat appear in A2? I had an idea, Why not take an AMP suit and instead of mounting it with a 30mm cannon, moun it with a rocket launcher. The suits have the cappacity to carry a 30mil with a few hundred or more rounds of ammo in them. Why not mount them with a couple of 2.75 in rocket pods with refills mounted on the back wher the ammo locker for the 30 would be mounted on a stock version. Also, have any of you read the book 1632 by Eric Flint, in it, a small west virginia mining town it somehow transported to the year 1632.
