We all have had that "huh?" moment when Hurt Locker won the best film award at this years oscar's, but does it really matterd? A film as great as Avatar does not need the recognition of the "all-knowing" academy to prove its worth. It will be remembered like all great classics, proven by the effect it had on so many, and the many pinnacles it has reached and surpassed. The story, visual effects, and response at the box office were some of the key factors that proved this. I would like to think there is nothing to be disappointed about.
